Process

Eight steps. One recovery route.

Subtle, repeatable, auditable. Collection is assessed — never promised as a free default.

The RecyclicTech process

Evaluate first. Recycle last.

We believe retired IT should be evaluated before it is recycled. The order is reuse, refurbish, recover components, remarketing, then responsible recycling.

  1. 01

    Assessment

You tell us what equipment you have — a few servers or an entire hall. We determine whether recovery, remarketing or recycling is the right route.

  2. 02

    Inventory

Equipment is documented and categorised. Incomplete lists are closed with on-site identification before anything is moved.

  3. 03

    Secure Handling

Data-bearing equipment is processed securely: erasure, wiping or physical destruction according to the project brief, with chain of custody.

  4. 04

    Collection

For organisations, collection is free. We de-install, pack and transport the estate. Individual courier pickups remain a paid programme.

  5. 05

    Testing & Evaluation

Each asset is assigned to reuse, remarketing, parts or recycling. Retired equipment is evaluated before it is recycled.

  6. 06

    Recovery

Reusable equipment is refurbished or redeployed. Component recovery sits between whole-unit reuse and recycling.

  7. 07

    Remarketing

Surplus equipment is sold through appropriate channels so residual value returns to the project.

  8. 08

    Recycling

Non-reusable equipment is sent through responsible recycling processes and material recovery.

Evidence

The trail runs beside the work.

Each job writes an append-only SHA-256 chain aligned to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Annex A logging and evidence controls. You open it with the public reference. Sanitisation lines stay blank until NIST 800-88 work actually runs. Company ISO 27001 certification is in process — expected within about 14 days of 22 August 2026. The number is not listed here until it can be verified.

Free collection for organisations. We de-install, destroy the data, recycle what cannot be reused, document the job — and share residual value as a rebate.
