Data-centre operators retire infrastructure in lots: a row, a hall, a site. RecyclicTech is built around that reality — inventory, secure handling, physical removal, logistics and downstream recovery as one sequence.
The purchase usually starts with a date, not a recycling slogan. A colo cage has a handback. An on-prem hall has a landlord, a neighbour who is still live, and an auditor who will ask what happened to each serial. We plan backwards from that date: what stays powered, what leaves first, which drives travel in their own stream, and which papers land with you afterwards.
Whether the driver is density, power, cooling or a customer move-out, the work is the same: treat the floor as an estate, not as a pile of units. De-rack while neighbouring cages keep power. Pack compute and storage as assets, not mixed scrap. Processing after collection is in Rădăuți — declared on the same file as the certificates.
Server recycling is the last route, not the first. Saleable generations are tested after NIST SP 800-88. What has no residual value is WEEE-routed with duty-of-care papers. A recycling ticket is not a destruction certificate, and it is not a decommissioning completion notice.
You receive a destruction certificate per drive or serial, chain of custody, an itemised asset list and WEEE papers. We do not invent an Environment Agency permit, an ICO number, or a staffed hall in every market we collect from.
