Secure Data Destruction When Disposing of IT Equipment

Erasure, wiping, physical destruction, chain of custody and the documentation that actually matters.

Disposing of IT equipment without a data plan is not disposal; it is a transfer of residual risk. Secure data destruction is the set of methods that close that risk: logical erasure, firmware-based sanitisation, and physical destruction where policy requires it.

Match the method to the media

HDDs, SSDs, NVMe, tape and embedded flash do not sanitise the same way. A single slogan cannot cover them. RecyclicTech identifies data-bearing items first, then applies the method in the brief.

Certificates without theatre

A certificate is useful when it is tied to serials, methods and dates. It is not useful as a logo on a website. RecyclicTech will publish verified certifications as they are obtained; until then we describe the process, not the seal.
