- Is collection really free?
- For organisations, yes — ITAD lots nationwide. Household donations use the donate portal and the sender pays the courier.
- Do you have a Vienna office?
- No. Nationwide collection, processing in Rădăuți, Romania. Declared in the chain.
- Are you an EAK or ERA scheme?
- No. EAK coordinates household WEEE. ERA, UFH, ERP Austria and Interzero are approved compliance schemes. ARA is packaging. We are an ITAD vendor for organisations and do not claim scheme membership.
- GDPR / DSG / Datenschutzbehörde?
- The process is built for evidence: per-drive certificate, defined NIST SP 800-88 method, unbroken chain. The Authority (dsb.gv.at) does not licence ITAD vendors.
- What is on the erasure certificate?
- Serial or drive, method (NIST SP 800-88 Clear, Purge or physical destruction), timestamp. No bulk PDF without lines. Built for internal audit and the DPO.
- Credit note / residual value?
- Assessed after inventory. No promised figure before the lot. Common on still-current enterprise hardware — typical for the Austrian market. Collection stays free either way.
- On-site service — who de-installs?
- We do. Strip-out, pack, remove. Neighbouring racks stay live. You do not staff a facilities crew.
- How does kit reach Romania — and why is that in the file?
- Cross-border logistics is part of the job, not a footnote. The chain runs from the Austrian dock to processing in Rădăuți. We do not hide the path.
- Treatment duties — must we join a scheme?
- No. AbfallBPV and EAG-VO cover treatment and producer duties. Your ITAD job is the documented exit of the estate. Producers report via EDM and schemes; that is a different file.
- German?
- Primary edition: /at/. Language changes only via the switcher.
RecyclicTech has not published an Austrian office and is not an EAK scheme or an EAG compliance scheme (ERA, UFH, ERP Austria, Interzero). Free collection for organisations is nationwide. Media is handled to NIST SP 800-88 methods. Recycling uses certified EAG-VO-compatible channels.
