A company refreshing hundreds of devices uses the free ITAD assessment. Collection for organisations is free when residual value carries freight. That sentence is about freight, not a ban on consumers.
An individual who wants to donate one laptop uses recyclictech.com/donate/laptop. RecyclicTech accepts the machine. You pay the courier label. You can donate company laptops as a CSR gift the same way, or ask for the organisational assessment if the lot is a hall.
