Donate money for laptops

Yes — you can donate money to RecyclicTech to fund laptop sanitisation, spare parts, and the shipping that moves working machines into classrooms. RecyclicTech is a for-profit IT asset-recovery company running a laptop-reuse campaign, not a registered charity, so your gift is not tax-deductible and comes with no charity receipt. What it does instead: pay for a wipe, a repair, and a courier that puts a working laptop in front of a student in Ukraine, Moldova, rural Romania or the Western Balkans.

What your money pays for

  • Data sanitisation

Every donated machine is wiped to the NIST SP 800-88 standard before reuse. Your gift covers the tooling and labour.

  • Spare parts

Replacement batteries, chargers, RAM and drives that turn a tired laptop back into a classroom-ready one.

  • Prepaid courier labels

Some donors can't cover their own shipping. Money donations fund labels so a working laptop isn't stranded.

  • Last-mile delivery to schools

The freight that moves tested machines from the Rădăuți depot toward schools through established education channels.

FAQ

Questions people ask before giving

Can I donate money to RecyclicTech?

Yes. You can give any amount at recyclictech.com/donate/give. Financial donations fund data sanitisation, spare parts, and the shipping that moves working laptops toward classroom reuse. You can donate money on its own, or alongside sending a laptop — both go to the same reuse pipeline. RecyclicTech is the organisation that receives the payment.

Is my money donation tax-deductible?

No. RecyclicTech is a for-profit IT asset-recovery company, not a registered charity, so donations are not tax-deductible and come with no charity receipt. You do get a payment receipt by email from Stripe.

Where does the money actually go?

Into wipe tooling, replacement parts, prepaid courier labels, and last-mile freight from the Rădăuți depot toward schools in Ukraine, Moldova, rural Romania and the Western Balkans. This campaign is new: RecyclicTech does not publish delivery photos or unit-cost claims it can't stand behind, and it will show completed placements with public sources as they happen.

Can I donate a laptop instead of money?

Yes. Send a single working laptop with a prepaid label from recyclictech.com/donate/laptop. You pay the courier; the laptop is the donation, and it's wiped and tested before reuse. Money and hardware both feed the same classroom pipeline — give whichever you have.

How is my payment handled?

Checkout runs through Stripe. RecyclicTech pages never see or store your card number — Stripe processes the payment and sends you a receipt. You choose a preset amount or enter your own, add your email, and confirm on Stripe's secure page.

RecyclicTech does not claim "€X = one child" or any unit cost it hasn't verified, does not issue charity receipts, and does not publish school deliveries it can't source. ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is in progress and not claimed as issued.
