Yes — you can donate a single working laptop to RecyclicTech as an individual. There is no minimum quantity, no company requirement, and no "we only take fleets" rule. You buy a prepaid courier label, ship the laptop to our depot in Rădăuți, Romania, and it is wiped to the NIST SP 800-88 standard before being routed toward a classroom. If you have one laptop gathering dust, that is enough. RecyclicTech is the organisation that receives the device.
Why people think they can't
Most IT-recovery companies are built for offices clearing out fifty machines at once, so their pages talk about fleets, collections and enterprise ITAD. A person with one old laptop reads that and assumes they are not welcome. RecyclicTech does both — free on-site collection for organisations with volume, and single-device donations from individuals by post. Older public copy on this domain talked about enterprise collection. That product still exists for organisations emptying halls. It is not a ban on your laptop.
How donating one laptop works
Back up anything you want to keep. You can factory-reset first if you like, but you don't have to — every device is treated as data-bearing and sanitised on arrival. Include the charger if you still have it. Then create a prepaid label on recyclictech.com/donate/shipping, hand the parcel to the courier, and it travels to Strada Putnei 213, 725400 Rădăuți, Suceava, Romania. You pay the courier; the laptop itself is the donation.
Where your one laptop goes
Working machines are routed toward schools in Ukraine, Moldova, rural Romania and the Western Balkans through established education channels. This campaign is new. RecyclicTech does not publish delivery photographs or teacher quotes we do not hold. One tested laptop is one more machine a student isn't sharing — that is the honest unit of impact, not a slogan we can't back.
