Is IT equipment collection free in the UK?

“Free collection” is the line every UK ITAD page repeats. RecyclicTech means something narrower: organisations, when residual value and density carry the road freight to Rădăuți. What “free” actually covers

Collection labour and the van for an organisational lot that can pay for the road. De-rack in a live hall is scoped. A crane, a weekend out-of-hours window or a worthless mixed skip is not smuggled into the same word.

What it does not cover

A household laptop, a school donation, a one-PC desk, or a skip of mixed metal with no residual value. Those are either /donate/ (sender pays) or a quoted job. RecyclicTech will say no rather than invent a “free nationwide WEEE pickup”.

Do you pay companies for old IT?+

Residual value after sanitisation can return as a rebate. No purchase price is promised on a sales PDF.

Is corporate IT recycling free?+

Collection can be. Recycling of worthless remainder is part of the same file, not a second skip invoice — unless the lot was never going to carry freight, in which case we said so first.
