Who this is
RecyclicTech is the trading style of Service Parts Online Ltd (Companies House 17420819), the documented IT asset recovery programme for organisations in the United Kingdom. We collect retired servers, storage, networking and laptops, sanitise every data-bearing drive to NIST SP 800-88, return WEEE duty-of-care papers, and process the lot after collection in Rădăuți, Romania.
The registered office is 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA — a Companies House address, not a walk-in plant. Processing is in Rădăuți. We do not publish an ICO registration number, an Environment Agency permit or a Defra affiliation. Free collection is for organisations when residual value and density carry the freight. Households and schools use /donate/ and pay the courier.
Who RecyclicTech is in the UK — and is notSebastian-Florin Mutescu, director
What we are
- Service Parts Online Ltd, company number 17420819, trading as RecyclicTech.
- A B2B ITAD collector for UK organisations — colo halls, on-prem rooms, corporate laptop estates.
- NIST SP 800-88 sanitisation with a certificate per drive or serial.
- WEEE duty-of-care papers on the same file as the destruction certificates.
- Processing after collection at Strada Putnei 213, 725400 Rădăuți, Romania — declared.
What we are not
- A staffed ITAD warehouse at 66 Paul Street. That is the Companies House registered office, not the plant.
- An ICO-registered controller with a number on this page.
- A skip-hire or mixed-waste contractor.
- A demolition company. RecyclicTech does not take down steel structures.
Official sources we write against
The audit question is what happened to each serial — not whether a skip collected the cages.
RecyclicTech is the complete, free, fully documented way out for UK estates — you retire the kit, we do everything else.
Old inventory in a London cage, a Slough colo hall or a Manchester server room is not a recycling errand. It is floor space you are paying for, a UK GDPR exposure you cannot ignore, and a WEEE duty of care that still sits with you until the chain of custody is closed.
UK organisations typically speak in ITAD and WEEE language. We treat that as a recovery problem first: inventory, secure handling of every data-bearing drive, then reuse, remarketing or recycling. Collection for corporate lots is free. Residual value can be shared back as a rebate.
When the job is done you receive a certificate of data destruction per drive or serial, a chain-of-custody record, an itemised asset report, WEEE duty-of-care papers and an environmental summary. We do not invent ICO registrations or certifications we do not hold.
Proof you can hand to audit
- Certificate of data destruction (per drive / serial number)
- Chain-of-custody record
- Itemised asset report
- WEEE duty-of-care documentation
- Environmental / ESG summary
If anything still has resale value, that value covers the work — surplus is shared back as a rebate.
How the work runs
01
Tell us the lot
Equipment types, sites and postcodes — enough to scope labour and vans.
02
We clear the floor
De-install, de-rack, pack and move it. You keep running what still has to stay live.
03
Data, then residual value
Drives are erased or destroyed. What can be reused is evaluated for a rebate.
04
Paperwork back to you
Certificates, chain of custody, asset report, WEEE papers.
What we take off your hands
- Data centre decommissioning for colo and on-prem halls
- Corporate IT disposal programmes
- Secure data destruction aligned to NIST 800-88
- WEEE-compliant recycling of what cannot be reused

Local service pages
Empty a UK hall without leaving a paperwork gap
A retired cage in Slough or a London on-prem hall is still a UK GDPR asset until every drive is erased or destroyed and the duty-of-care chain is closed.
Recover residual value from retired UK IT
Retired servers and laptops on a UK floor still cost rent and still hold personal data. Recovery is inventory, sanitisation, then value — not a skip.
Take servers off a UK floor and account for every drive
A powered-off Dell or HPE in Manchester is still a data-bearing asset. Recovery starts with the drives, not the scrap price.
Prove UK GDPR destruction per serial
UK GDPR does not close when the van leaves. It closes when you can show what happened to each serial.
Remarket UK enterprise kit after the data is gone
Remarketing is not a shortcut around UK GDPR. Nothing is offered for reuse until sanitisation is recorded against the serial.
WEEE-compatible recycling when UK kit has no residual value
Recycling is the last route, not the first. A general waste contractor will treat a reusable estate as mixed metal.
Questions
Straight answers.
Is IT collection free in the UK?+
For organisations, yes — when residual value and density carry the freight to Rădăuți. Households and schools use /donate/ and pay the courier. We do not run an open skip for every postcode.
Do you have a UK office or an ICO registration number?+
The registered office of Service Parts Online Ltd is 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA (Companies House 17420819). That is not a staffed ITAD warehouse. Processing after collection is in Rădăuți, Romania, and that is written on the file. No ICO registration number is published on this site.
Where does the equipment go after you collect it?+
Sealed road freight to Rădăuți. Drives are isolated, then erased or destroyed to NIST SP 800-88. What still has a market is tested. What does not goes through WEEE-compatible channels.
How is data destroyed and what proof do we get?+
NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 1 — erase or physical destruction, chosen in the assessment. You get a certificate per drive or serial, chain of custody, an itemised asset list and WEEE duty-of-care papers. A recycling ticket is not that certificate.
Can a household or a school use this, or only companies?+
This UK edition is for organisations. Individuals and schools use the donate portal. The sender pays the courier there. Do not send household laptops on a corporate ITAD booking.
Who holds WEEE duty of care once the van leaves?+
Duty of care stays with you until the chain is closed in writing. We return WEEE papers on the same file as the destruction certificates. We do not publish an Environment Agency permit number or a Defra affiliation we have not been issued.
Do we get money back for old servers?+
Residual value is assessed after inventory and sanitisation. Surplus after costs can return as a rebate. No figure is promised before the lot is seen.

Stuck with retired IT — United Kingdom?
Free collection for organisations. We de-install, destroy the data, recycle what cannot be reused, document the job — and share residual value as a rebate.
